Although LED lamps may cost a bit more, the savings over the lifetime of that lamp will be well worth the initial expenditure.

LED lights are also eco-friendly in that fewer fossil fuels are needed to power them, and no dangerous metals like mercury are used in the manufacturing of them. Consumers and businesses are saving money on utility bills and doing their part to save the planet at the same time. As LED technology advances, it is felt that even more energy efficient lamps will be manufactured.
